Error Trying To Use

Mar 25, 2014 at 1:05 PM
I was just trying this out on our open source MVC forum

http://www.mvcforum.com

I have just upgraded the forum to MVC5 and EF6.1 and it seems to be running fine. I grabbed your nuget package and followed you blog post.

But straight away I got an error on start up when it tries to do the first call to the database to get the settings.
The 'AkismentKey' property on 'Settings' could not be set to a 'System.DBNull' value. You must set this property to a non-null value of type 'System.String'.
Weird thing is. This property IS ALREADY a string? I'm a little lost where to go now. It seems to have a problem with null values?
